Look back now and see that healing and that comforting and take hold of it. You can take hold of it and you can lay claim to it.

It did not occur to me, nor did it ever occur to me through any abuse I experienced that I did something to make that happen ever. And that's unheard of. And I mean, people could say that can't possibly be true, but it is. And I feel it's because His presence was there.

So there is a healthy middle ground where we acknowledge our beauty in Christ and in our creator. And then we can do as they say, jokingly put a little paint on the barn.

Meet our Author, Michele Vrabel

Michele is an expert bean counter by day. In addition to her work as a bookkeeper, her superpowers and side hustles include pastry chef and author in training. She has been told she has “sass,” which she deploys regularly. She is nearing the finish line with her first book, Butterfly Stitches, and according to her King apparently has several others in her. At 60, she has launched a podcast and is having the time of her life.

Michele lives in Mesa, Arizona with her daughter who is lovingly known as Peanut. She is an enthusiastic traveler, foodie, smart alec and lover of her King Jesus.
