Oh Deborah this made me cry. “Swoosh” yes that is a beautiful word to use for Holy Spirit. And what a wonderful gift your mom gave you and your sister. The Lord is so good to pour out His love in and through us.
As an aside the day my sweet Grandmomma passed was an overcast day. It wasn’t raining but the skies were dark and ominous. My heart was in a similar place until I saw an angel in the sky. And I knew. She was with the Lord. Not too long after I would begin praying for others as she prayed for me. Another gift from the Father.
Eve, this is so beautiful. Yes, yes He gives us gifts to show us His love and that He is here with us. Thank you for sharing. This brings tears to my eyes.
Thank you Tammy. Yes, I have to say the whole thing was something only God could of orchestrated. What's wonderful is not only did I come back to Christ on this trip but my husband who was in Los Angeles and even my close friend who I was working with there. I love how God can be everywhere at the same time.
He does. I prayed for one of my nieces for years. She is in her early 40's. Then I saw a post where she was drawn to a church which she was visiting Greece on a work trip. It was Easter Sunday. She didn't go in but she stood outside and filmed it and talked about how beautiful was. There was a lovely music coming from the church. Then she married a man who is a Christian and at first he went to church alone. She soon joined him and has come back to Jesus.

I love the way God pursues His children and was so encouraged by your story as I have a loved one on the prodigal road.
