Hi Susie, thank you. I was having a moment as the being away also included funerals and challenging relationships yet God showed me that this was all part of it, and redirected me to gratitude. And so came the poem. Have a lovely day ❤️
Oh dear- I am so sorry. So glad you were able to come back to gratitude. That is so hard for me sometimes. He is so good to help us find our way through and love us so tenderly- thank you for sharing! Sending love ❤️
Thank you Susie. I am so grateful too. I was just reading in Luke 18 tgis morning when Jesus asked the blind man what do you want me to do for you? And so I asked like the blinds man. I asked for Jesus's peace and comfort and it's so amazing because that's what happened.
I've been to Turner Falls, OK and New Braunfels, TX. Both were great places. I got to try kayaking for the first time on the Guadalupe and Comal Rivers.
We drove. There were twelve of us, caravanning in three cars. My brother, my sister-in-law and myself left from Eugene, Oregon, and the rest of the family came up from California, meeting in Boise, Idaho. We saw some beautiful country, met some beautiful people, and had a beautiful experience.
Love your poem! Sounds like an amazing summer! And a beautiful place to come home to! 💛

I’m glad we got to share one of our “away” places together!♥️
I am too Sarah! One of my best away places.♥️

Adriane, I love this and could be a stanza in this poem. What beauty you have experienced!
I have been on a wonderful family trip to Idaho and Montana.
Oh that sounds wonderful Rachael. Did you drive and where did you begin and was it beautiful?
